Why, hello!
This blog is my latest venture at expression on the interwebs. The title “Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream” is a nod to a favorite film from my heady high school days featuring (among a list of excellent character actors) a thin, fast talking Vince Vaughn as a womanizer with bad intentions but a heart of gold. When describing a conversation with a woman he uses the phrase “puppy dogs and ice cream” to connote the meaningless, cheerful, and flirtatious form of banter that women apparently just love.
My name is Kim. At this point in my life, my head and my heart are both full of puppy dogs running from rottweilers and cones of melting fat free fro-yo. The images may seem bleak, but to me I find them to be a little more accurate and a little less fronwn-inducing than the original phrase taken at face value.
This blog is mostly a collection of odds and ends and blips and blops relating to things I see, hear, experience, or hallucinate. I may not make it clear what’s what- I’ll leave that up to you.
